Well, he put it so well himself I'm just going to quote him.

"On June 18th I'm participating in the London to Brighton bike ride to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and am appealing for your money!

"But I don't even know this man!" I hear you cry. Granted I could be trying to raise money for another charity, i.e. big fat me, but I'm not. Look, I've even set up a special British Heart Foundation endorsed sponsorship page... use it now!

The BHF has worked for more than 40 years funding heart disease research, education and care. Their hard work has benefitted hundreds of thousands of people including members of my family and friends. Any sponsorship money you can offer, whatever the amount, is greatly appreciated.

Age Concern provides support to millions of older people in the UK, believing later in life should be fulfilling and enjoyable. For too many older people, problems such as in adequate income and housing, and feeling of isolation make their lives a misery.
